/ August 19, 2018I took the U tube off the bassoon, screwed a couple dowel rods into the base where the bore holes line up, and used the existing screw holes from the U tube to screw the boot onto the base from the bottom.

/ May 11, 2023Hi Trent, I’m about to embark on a bassoon floor lamp project. I want to mount the boot onto a 6cm thick wooden base. Any advice on a secure connection would be greatly appreciated. I think it’s the most crucial part of the job and I want to get it right. Thanks. Regards, Eddie.
